TEAM NEWS: Bonera and De Jong replace suspended Boateng and Zapata for Milan's clash against Cagliari

There are numerous changes to the Rossoneri's starting XI as they look to secure their first home win of the season, with Massimo Ficcadenti's side their opposition this evening
AC Milan have made wholesale changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Udinese on Sunday, with four players lining up against Cagliari tonight that did not start their last match.

Assistant coach Mauro Tassotti will take charge of the side tonight, following the touchline ban picked up by Massimiliano Allegri for arguing with the officials in their recent loss.

Kevin-Prince Boateng and Cristian Zapata are also suspended for this tie having picked up red cards against Udinese, and they are replaced by recent signing Nigel De Jong, and Daniele Bonera. Elsewhere, the young full-back Mattia De Sciglio replaces Djamel Mesbah at left-back, while Massimo Ambrosini makes way for Bakaye Traore in central midfield.

The Rossoneri's front three remains unchanged, with Giampaolo Pazzini flanked by Urby Emanuelson and Stephan El Shaarawy.

With a complete squad to choose from Cagliari boss Massimo Ficcadenti has picked a full-strength side, with Daniele Dessena, Daniele Conti and Radja Naingollan forming a solid midfield three behind the athletic attacking trio of Thiago Ribeiro, Mauricio Pinilla and Victor Ibarbo.
