The Juventus forward has received criticism for a recent barren spell in front of goal, but his representative is confident it will not be long before he is back on the scoresheetJuventus striker Sebastian Giovinco will soon be back on the goal trail, according to the player's agent Andrea D'Amico.
Giovinco, affectionately nicknamed the 'atomic ant', started the campaign brightly with two goals in a 4-1 victory over Udinese.
However, he has since failed to continue that positive start, with critics questioning the 23-year-old following a run of five games without a goal for club or country.
"He has great qualities that should not be called into question," said D'Amico to TMW.
"What we must remember is that he hasn't really had a break since Euro 2012. If he plays some below-par games then that shouldn’t set alarm bells ringing.
"He’ll be able to refind the right intensity with Juventus."
D'Amico went on to discuss the pressures of playing in Serie A and the level of scrutiny under which players must perform, something he suggests may be behind Giovinco's recent troubles in front of goal.
"The problem is that in Italy everything is looked at with a magnifying glass," he continued.
"If things go well then the player is hailed, while he’ll immediately get kicked off the pedestal when things go wrong."
