thumbnail Hello,

The Genoa striker believes that his compatriot would be a quality asset to the Nerazzurri and is hopeful that the 27-year-old will not move to the Parc des Princes

Inter's soon-to-be striker Rodrigo Palacio has said that he would like to play alongside Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi at San Siro.

The Nerazzurri face stiff competition from Paris Saint-Germain for Lavezzi's signature as Carlo Ancelotti looks to bolster his side to be able to mount a serious Champions League challenge next season.

But Palacio, who is on the verge of completing a move to Inter, remains hopeful that his future club will beat PSG in the race for his compatriot.

"If Lavezzi arrives, Inter will have a stellar attack," Palacio told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "It would be great to play alongside him.

"I have played with him in the Argentina national team, we have a great rapport. Let's hope that he will come to Inter and not PSG."

Lavezzi, who signed for Napoli in 2007, has a reported €31 million buy-out clause attached to his contract, which runs out in 2015.
