The 24-year-old attacking midfielder is coveted by many of Europe's top clubs but his representative insists that the Slovakia international is not going anywhere this summerMarek Hamsik insists that his client has no intention of leaving Napoli as he believes the Partenopei will challenge for the Serie A title next season.
The Slovakia international was heavily linked with a move to AC Milan last summer but ultimately ended up staying with the southern Italian club.
The player's representative insists that there will be no such uncertainty this year as Hamsik has been assured by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis that he intends to significantly strengthen the squad during the upcoming transfer window.
"Marek loves Naples and he can become a symbol of a team he has been serving for many years now," Juraj Venglos told Radio Crc.
"De Laurentiis wants to make sure that the team continues to grow and next season they will fight for the Scudetto. Marek believes that and he will definitely stay at Napoli."
Hamsik, who scored Napoli's crucial second goal in their 2-0 win over Juventus in the Coppa Italia final on Sunday, arrived at the San Paolo from Brescia in 2007.
