Lucas Moura: I want to win silverware with PSG
The Brazil international wants to make his mark with the Parisiens and is desperate to guide his new club to success in the years to come
Lucas Moura is eager to make a name for himself at Paris Saint-Germain and is keen to follow in the footsteps of fellow Brazilians such as Leonardo, Rai and Ronaldinho. The 20-year-old moved to the French capital from Sao Paulo in the January transfer window, and is desperate to guide the Carlo Ancelotti's to silverware.
"I'm very happy to be here. PSG are a big club and some fantastic Brazilian players have already worn the PSG shirt. I want to leave my mark here like they did," Lucas told beIN Sport.
"I want to win trophies and make the fans happy; they can be sure that when I step out on the pitch I'll try my best to turn on the style and hopefully we'll have a big party together."
Lucas is set to make his Champions League debut in the round of 16 tie against Valencia, and is looking forward to next week's first leg.
"Playing in the Champions League is a dream. I'm a bit apprehensive but I can't wait to play in this great competition.
"It's the biggest club competition around and the games are followed closely in Brazil. Every player dreams of playing in the Champions League.
"I've got that opportunity now and I'm really looking forward to it. I want to make the most of my chance."
PSG travel to Valencia on February 12.
