The 26-year-old defender was allegedly intoxicated after being pulled over by police on Tuesday night and was placed in custody after refusing to comply with his arresting officers.
Triaud has now revealed that Tremoulinas is now facing a club fine.
"It's not very professional or very smart on his part," he is quoted as saying by i>Tele. "We must face the facts and accept the mistake. It's a youthful indiscretion. There will be a penalty."
Tremoulinas was a key member of the Bordeaux side which won the Ligue 1 title in 2009 but has struggled to recapture his best form this season.
