thumbnail Hello,

Peter Crouch's wondergoal against Manchester City hands him his debut in our XI, while Newcastle duo Hatem Ben Arfa and Papiss Cisse are both included

Arsenal wideman Theo Walcott makes his seventh appearance this season in our TOTW, with the 23-year-old again impressing as the Gunners eased past Aston Villa 3-0 on Saturday to tighten their grip on third place in the Premier League.

The England international bagged his side’s second goal of the afternoon after latching onto a superb lofted through ball from Alex Song, and linked up well throughout the game with right-back Bacary Sagna, who also makes the cut.

Peter Crouch makes his second TOTW appearance following his wondergoal to put Stoke City 1-0 up at the Britannia Stadium against Manchester City at the weekend, while Yaya Toure, who grabbed the equaliser for Roberto Mancini’s men, features for the first time.

Everton duo Leighton Baines and Steven Pienaar are also included, with the left-back scoring a superb free-kick to help the Toffees to a 2-0 away win over Swansea and his South African team-mate’s creative showing just edges out Norwich City’s Wes Hoolahan in midfield.

James McClean and Ryo Miyaichi also miss out despite impressive performances for Sunderland and Bolton respectively, with Hatem Ben Arfa rewarded for his role in Newcastle’s 3-1 win over West Brom on Sunday.

Papiss Cisse joins the Frenchman in our XI after he grabbed the other two goals for Alan Pardew’s side at the Hawthorns, while fellow double-scorer David Wheater lines up at centre-back following Bolton’s 2-1 win over Blackburn.

Manchester United defender Jonny Evans takes the final place in defence, keeping out Rio Ferdinand, Younes Kaboul and John Terry, with the Northern Irishman again impressing as he set-up Wayne Rooney for the only goal of the game in Monday’s clash with Fulham.

Wigan stopper Ali Al-Habsi rounds off our side, making his third appearance in our TOTW after the Latics shocked Liverpool with a 2-1 win at Anfield.

Honourable mentions must go to Kieran Gibbs, who opened the scoring for Arsenal at the weekend, and Tomas Rosicky, while forward pair Emmanuel Adebayor and Grant Holt were both unfortunate to miss out.
