Goal.com Nigeria Player of the Week - Imoh Ezekiel

Nigeria Player of the Week
Imoh Ezekiel
AGE 19
FOR Standard Liege

Standard Liege
6-1 Charleroi

Imoh Ezekiel scored his ninth goal of the season in a 6-1  whitewash of Sporting Charleroi at the weekend. The 19 year-old who has become a household name in the city is a fans' favourite with the stadium erupting in chants of "Imoh! Imoh! Imoh!" when he scored his header to round off game. Young Imoh has only come into limelight this season with some eye-catching performances in Belgium helping his side to fifth position at the moment. It is hoped that the forward will continue improving on his talent in order to give national team selectors another option upfront.

Congratulations to Imoh Ezekiel, Goal.com Nigeria's 2nd Player of the Week winner!

Honourable Mention

Obafemi Martins - Levante

Obafemi Martins scored his sixth goal of the season for Levante in their 4-0 defeat of Mallorca on Sunday. Obagoal looks to have revived his career in Spain as he's firing on all cylinders again.

Kalu Uche - Kasimpasa

The older of the Uche clan, Kalu scored his ninth goal of the season in Kasimpasa's 2-2 draw against Genclerbirligi at the weekend.

John Utaka - Montpellier

The old war horse is slowly inching back to full form as he scored in Montpellier's 3-0 defeat of Ajaccio. Utaka's sights are set on an Afcon spot and he just might be making that needed impression.
