Casemiro could be on his way out of Sao Paulo in the summer transfer window as both Napoli and Genoa are considering making a move for the midfielder, Goal.com has learned.
The 20-year-old was regarded as one of the most promising youngsters to emerge from Brazil, and promptly attracted interest from the likes of Inter and Roma, who saw their attempts to sign the midfielder rebuffed.
However, the player's stock has fallen in recent months after struggling at Sao Paulo, and the Brazilian side are therefore ready to cash in on the versatile midfielder.
Casemiro has a contract with the club until the summer of 2016, but an offer in the region of €7 million could be enough to secure his signature.
Genoa are keen to add some fresh blood to their midfield following the departure of Miguel Veloso earlier this summer, and they view Casemiro as a potential replacement.
Napoli, meanwhile, could make a move for the Brazil international if Walter Gargano leaves the club before the start of the 2012-13 season.
