The Germany international has been plagued by muscular problems during pre-season and consequently missed the 4-2 German Supercup loss against Borussia Dortmund at the weekend.
Nevertheless, Neuer has shaken off his injury worries and will make his comeback in the Audi Cup this week, according to coach Pep Guardiola.
"Manuel had a minor injury, but he's ready again. He will play in the Audi Cup on Wednesday and Thursday," Guardiola said at a press conference.
Bayern take on Sao Paulo on Wednesday, with the final and third-place playoff scheduled for Thursday. Manchester City take on AC Milan in the other semi-final.
Neuer is also set to be fit for the opening match of Bayern's Bundesliga title defence against Borussia Monchengladbach on August 10.
