Tickets to Bayern's home matches sold out

Seats at the Allianz Arena have already been snapped up by eager fans, ensuring the Bavarians will take on opponents in front of a capacity crowd
Bayern Munich's allocation of home tickets ahead of the new Bundesliga season have been met with an overwhelming response by fans.

The Allianz Arena, the Bavarian club's home ground, was due to continue receiving ticket orders until July 15, but it now appears seating has been sold out 45 days before 2012-13 kicks off.

"I would like to thank all fans for their great interest and support of Bayern very much," gushed CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge to the club's official website.

"This confirms how attractive and popular Bayern Munich is."

Die Roten open their campaign on August 25 against Greuther Furth in the Bavarian derby, before entertaining Stuttgart in their first home game on September 2.

The state-of-the-art Allianz Arena notably played host to last season's Champions League final, which Jupp Heynckes' men coincidentally lost to Chelsea.
