The new arrival for the Champions League finalists has stated he joined the club because of they way they reached out to him and their involvement in Europe's top competition
Goalkeeper Tom Starke has revealed he joined Bayern Munich because they made him feel wanted and for Champions League football, after he signed a three-year deal as Manuel Neuer's understudy last week.
The former Hoffenheim and Duisburg goalkeeper joined the Bavarians on Wednesday, and affirms that he joined was pleased to join the Bavarians.
"You need a club to make you feel special, it really does depend on how a side approach you. Bayern gave me the feeling that they really wanted me", Starke told Bild. "The offer was just right".
The 31-year-old is also looking forward to playing in Europe's top competition next season.
"The chance of playing in the Champions League is, of course, fantastic," confirmed the veteran.
Bayern Munich face Chelsea in the Champions League final tomorrow.
