Super Eagles assistant coach, Daniel 'The Bull' Amokachi will be the 'Legend of the Night' at the Heineken Champions Planet on Wednesday night , as guests get the opportunity to interact with him during the last quarter final matches of the UEFA Champions League.
The Atlanta ‘96 gold medal winner for Nigeria is a double winner, as he is part of the coaching staff that led the current crop of Eagles to the crown at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. The Bull will be part of the live cast for the high profile match between FC Barcelona and PSG at Camp Nou and will share his insight on the Juventus’ quest to upturn the 0-2 defeat against Bayern Munich at the Turin stadium this evening.
Interestingly, Amokachi was the first goal scorer when the current version of the competition was introduced in 1992. He scored FC Bruges of Belgium's lone goal in the win away to Macabbi Tel-Aviv at the Ilztadion Ramat Gan Stadium in Israel before leading the team to win 4-0 on aggregate.
The visit of the former Super Eagles' supporting striker, will preview a busy week of ongoing activity as the 'Race to the Final' contest kicks off this weekend among 350 UEFA Champions League fans to decide the five winners of an all-expense paid trip to watch the final match live at Wembley Stadium, London.
The entries for the contest started on the 3rd of April and will close by midnight on Thursday 11th April so fans of UEFA Champions League, still have the chance to go to Heineken website, www.Heineken.com/ng to register.
