The centre-back believes the influx of experienced and talented players in the summer gives them a great chance at becoming the European champions at the end of the campaign.
“Winning the Champions League? Why not," he told RMC.
“We have players who are very experienced and seen it all. Our team also have many qualities. There are still a lot of matches to play in this competition, but it is possible."
Carlo Ancelotti’s have qualified for the next phase of the competition, but are currently one point behind Porto, who they face on December 4 for their matchday 6 clash.
