A day after exiting Euro 2012 following a 2-0 defeat at the hands of reigning champions Spain, France have already started to look onwards to the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign that will see Les Bleus face Spain again in Group I.

The big talk in France regards the future of head coach Laurent Blanc, who sought to prolong his contract before Euro 2012 but was stopped by French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet, who wanted a quarter-final berth before any negotiations could start.

This minimum objective attained, Le Graet is set to open talks with Blanc next week amidst rumours that several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, are interested in his services, with former club Inter Milan also said to be monitoring his situation with the long-term future of Andrea Stramaccioni not confirmed.

So, we have asked Goal.com readers whether Blanc can build on his Euro 2012 achievement, having guided France to a knock-out phase of an international tournament for the first time since the 2006 World Cup, or would he be best served in domestic management?

Can he become the third man, after Franz Beckenbauer and Mario Zagallo, to win the World Cup both as a player and a manager?
