The left-back remained grounded after Les Bleus beat the co-hosts, and stated that his team must win against Erik Hamren's side before their 'great story' begins
A 2-0 win over the co-hosts on Friday night put Laurent Blanc's men on top of Group D, but the Manchester City full-back has stressed the importance of winning their last pool game against the Scandinavians.
"We will be able to say that a great story will begin if we win against Sweden," he told reporters on Friday night.
"Even if we are happy and in a good position, nothing is complete. We'll have to try to play well and give a great performance against the Swedes.
"We know we have the quality to make the difference against any team, and if we win against Sweden, then we can say that a new adventure begins," he concluded.
Clichy was preferred to Patrice Evra for Les Bleus' fixture against Oleg Blokhin's side, after the Manchester United man played against England in the opening game.
