Nicklas Bendtner is confident that Denmark can recover their sharpness before their Euro 2012 opener against Netherlands on June 9.

The Danes beat Australia 2-0 at the weekend in their final warm-up friendly for this summer's tournament, and although Bendtner admits that he was not completely satisfied with their performance, he does not have any worries ahead of the clash with Oranje.

"We are playing a bit too slowly and too horizontally at the moment," Bendtner told reporters after his side's win over Australia.

"We have trained extremely hard in our preparations, though, and I am certain the sharpness will return in time."

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger also conceded that the Danes are not at their preferred level just yet, but is equally confident that they will be ready for their opener against Holland.

"Even though we did well to keep possession for spells, we looked tired and our play was a little heavy," Agger stated.

"We left too many gaps and were not as compact as we would have liked, but we are only a week away from getting there."

Denmark have been drawn against Germany, Netherlands and Portugal in Group B.
