Non-league side Stalybridge Celtic have signed the cousin of Manchester United winger Nani, Rico Gomes, a former Old Trafford trialist himself.
Gomes, 19, is said to play in a similar style to his older - and better known - family member.
The young winger came through the ranks at Manchester United's academy and was tipped to be a future star in the game.
Gomes, who has played for Portugal Under-16s, was a member of the Manchester United squad who won the Milk Cup in 2009.
Released by United, the 19-year-old, who is described as a player with pace and vision, joins Stalybridge Celtic who are currently 11th in the Blue Square Bet North division.
