Balotelli is not leaving Manchester City, says agent

The Citizens striker was the hero for Italy this week as his double helped see off Germany in the Euro 2012 semi-finals and he looks set to remain at Eastlands
Mario Balotelli will not be leaving Manchester City in the near future, his agent has confirmed.

The controversial striker grabbed the spotlight once again on Thursday night, but this time for all the right reasons as his first-half brace against Germany secured Italy a spot in Sunday's Euro 2012 final.

The 21-year-old has been linked with a move in the past and it has been well documented that City boss Roberto Mancini must sell before he can buy in the summer transfer window as he lines up a raid for Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.

Balotelli was rumoured to be one of a host of players potentially up for sale, but his agent Mino Raiola has quashed these rumours by insisting that the Italian is going nowhere.

Raiola told Radio Monte Carlo: "Since Thursday night I've received many requests from China, USA, Africa and other countries I have never known."

Despite the global interest in his client, Raiola believes Balotelli has plenty more to offer in the Premier League.

"Mario is clear in his choices," he added. "With him, we have always said that we wanted to stay three or four years in England.

"Don't forget that next year will be only the third one he will be there, and he's only 21."
