Tributes have been posted from across the footballing world on Thursday following the death of Nelson Mandela, age 95.

The likes of Pele, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sepp Blatter and Yaya Toure sent messages of condolence on Facebook or Twitter for the former South Africa president, who was instrumental in bringing the World Cup tournament to the country in 2010.
