thumbnail Hello,

The England international has two years left on his contract and could be sold this summer as Arsene Wenger looks to Ligue 1 for a back-up to first choice Nacho Monreal

Arsenal are lining up a summer move for Lorient defender Raphael Guerreiro as a replacement for Kieran Gibbs, according to the Independent.

Gibbs has just two years left on his contract and could be on his way out of the Emirates at the end of the season after falling behind Nacho Monreal in the left-back pecking order.

Gurreiro has impressed the Gunners, who are hoping to use their links with Lorient - Laurent Koscielny's former club - to seal a deal for the full-back.

The Portugal international is seen as an ideal long term successor for Monreal at just 22 years old, while Gibbs will turn 27 in September.
