Walter Mazzarri can lead Inter to a new era of success, according to club president Massimo Moratti.
The Nerazzurri lured the former Napoli coach to the Giuseppe Meazza this summer following the decision to part company with Andrea Stramaccioni and Moratti believes Mazzarri has the right credentials to work with Inter's young squad.
The likes of Chelsea loanee Wallace, Mauro Icardi and Ishak Belfodil have all been recruited as Inter look to build for the future.
"We have signed a lot of young players but this is not a mistake. We know they are ready," Moratti told Inter.it.
"When we decided on this approach, we needed a man who agreed with the policy and knows how to exploit that potential - and Mazzarri is that man."
Although the 51-year-old has only been with Inter for a matter of months, Moratti believes the early signs of a fruitful relationship are there to be seen.
"He has already entered the hearts of the fans," claimed Moratti.
"He has good ideas and deals with the club and the players in a nice way. It is much the same as with Paul Ince. He was only with us for a year and a half but remains in the memory because he was a great professional."
Inter resume their Serie A campaign with a clash against reigning champions Juventus after the international break.
