Blackburn-Brighton Betting Preview: Rhodes to score in Ewood Park stalemate
Michael Appleton drew seven of 11 as Blackpool boss, and with Gus Poyet's Seagulls partial to a stalemate too, Jamie Dickenson is backing a point apiece with Jordan Rhodes scoring
Blackburn host Brighton at Ewood Park in the Championship, the only mid-week game to take place in the division. The home side lost their first match under new manager Michael Appleton 2-1 to Charlton, but can be backed for victory in this game at 13/8 (2.62).
Rovers are in real trouble this season though, with boardroom unrest still damaging the club, and the team are now two games without a win after a promising run of three victories on the spin over the turn of the year.

Six wins and six defeats on home soil in the league (just one draw), highlights the inconsistency of Blackburn, who are up against away-day lovers Brighton.
The Seagulls - available at 9/5 (2.80) to win - have lost just three times on the road this campaign, the joint-best record in the division, so will be a hard team to beat for Blackburn given their current problems.
Gus Poyet's side may have one eye on their weekend FA Cup meeting with Premier League outfit Arsenal however, and may not risk a full-strength side in Lancashire.
With the last fixture played between these two sides over 20 years ago - a 3-0 away win for Blackburn at Brighton in the old English second division - there isn't much to be gleaned from their head-to-head record.
It seems that the draw, priced at 21/10 (3.10), looks worth supporting here as Brighton's 11 stalemates are the joint-most in the league while Blackburn boss Appleton negotiated seven draws in his 11 game spell at Blackpool.
Crucially, both teams would be happy with a point, and the odds on offer for a share of the spoils looks worth siding with as the value bet.For the best bet, backing Blackburn striker Jordan Rhodes to find the net anytime at 10/11 (1.91) looks likely to return dividends.
The Scotland international has 17 league goals in just 26 appearances for Rovers since his £7million move from Huddersfield in the summer, and he's in form too with four in his last five.
