Valladolid - Barcelona Betting Preview: Back at least four goals to be scored on Saturday night

Valladolid - Barcelona Betting Preview: Back at least four goals to be scored on Saturday night

Latest Ganso: I need to be great like before Previous

Our Spanish expert Phil Kitromilides believes Barcelona's recent run of high-scoring matches will continue at Valladolid

Barcelona's final game of 2012 sees them make the trip to the coldest stadium in the Spanish top flight, the Estadio Nuevo Zorrilla, to face a Valladolid side who have been a little unpredictable in recent weeks.

The Blaugrana, of course, have been close to unstoppable so far this campaign and the bookmakers see no reason for that form not to continue on Saturday night with Paddy Power pricing a with for the Catalans at 2/9 (1.22).

Valladolid, meanwhile, gave Real Madrid a real run for their money before losing 3-2 in their last home match can be backed at 9/1 (10.00) with the draw available at 5/1 (6.00).

Of course this should be another victory for Barcelona and the challenge therefore is to try and find some value in backing the side from Catalonia.

In recent weeks backing over 3.5 goals in matches involving Barca has proved profitable and it is offered at a tempting looking 11/10 (2.10).

The price becomes even more attractive when one considers that this bet has paid out 15 times in matches involving Barcelona this season, and with Lionel Messi wanting to add more goals to his record breaking annual tally and Valladolid looking at times this season vulnerable at the back, there is every chance we could see another high scoring encounter.

For a value bet punters are advised to back over 2.5 goals in the first half which is offered at 7/2 (4.50) and which has paid out seven times already this season in Barca games including last week's win over Atletico Madrid.
