Matthews and Forrest sign new Celtic deals

After recently tying Charlie Mulgrew to a new four-year deal, the Hoops have announced extensions for two of their young starlets as the club builds for the future
Celtic have announced that both Adam Matthews and James Forrest have signed new contracts which will keep them at the club until 2016.

Wales international defender Matthews joined the SPL outfit from Cardiff in 2011, and has penned a new four-year deal after making 49 appearances.

Meanwhile, Forrest, who is a graduate of the club’s academy, has also signed a four-year deal after establishing himself in the Bhoys' midfield over the past two season.

The Scottish side also announced that defender Charlie Mulgrew had signed a new four-year contract with the club on Friday.
