Newly-appointed Persepolis boss Manuel Jose says he's not a "magician" and cannot not instantly reverse the club's fortunes.
The Tehran giants finished a lowly 12th in the Iranian Pro League last term but since the Portuguese's arrival there's been a new sense of optimism at the club.
However, speaking to reporters on Monday, Manuel Jose said his reforms will take time.
“I have been here just 15 days and it takes time to change the players. I am not a juggler or a magician," he said.
"Persepolis has so many experienced players and I am happy to work with them."
However, the Portuguese said if the players worked hard, they could win the Iranian title.
"Persepolis started its training late but we could win the title. We have to work hard. Persepolis needs its fans’ support,” he said.
