The defender says her Port Harcourt side remains the best after they edged Nasarawa Amazon to clinch their third consecutive league title
Rivers Angels defender Oshinachi Ohale insists her side are truly the best in the country after they were crowned the Nigeria Women Premier League champions for the third season in a row on Saturday.
Ohale helped Edwin Okon's side triumph over Nasarawa Amazons at the Fifa Goal Project pitch for her fifth title honours since joining them in 2014.
"I feel great. It is great privilege and honour to win back-to-back three times in a row with Rivers Angels," Ohale told Goal.
"We are the truly best in Nigeria. We've been the best over the years and our performance winning the league title [against Nasarawa Amazons] is a testament.
Meanwhile, the Super Falcons assistant captain has declared her side are fully motivated to maintain their dominance in the new season.
"We've won the league again. It shows that when the league final kicks off, we can still keep winning.
"It will be more of an encouragement, morale boost to players and officials coming out to win after training for days to win the league.
"With this title, we are ready for the new season with hopes to win."
