A handful of top saves to thwart Milan and keep his side in the game. However, he let El Shaarawy's equaliser in softly.
After looking assured during the first half, he was given a little too much trouble by El Shaarawy after the break whenever the Milan youngster looked to drift wide and affect play.
Rather anonymous for most of the match as he was bypassed out wide often, and never affected the pace of proceedings going forward.
Was able to give his team an outlet on the flanks, particularly during the second half. He was able to escape towards the byline one or twice, but his deliveries were not always up to the mark.
An uncompromising figure at the back, as he marked Bojan completely out of the game. A terrier whenever the ball entered the danger area, and did not give any Milan player an inch all game.
Solid presence at the back, and dealt with what little Milan could throw at him. It was a testament to his display that most of the Rossoneri’s thrust originated down the opposite flank.
A hardworking display in the middle was complemented by a superbly-taken equaliser - a powerful low shot from a set-piece layoff. His effort and hustle was there for all to see.
Though he drifted out of the game from time to time, he still held the talent to trouble Milan. Fashioned one or two great chances for his teammates, and sent a shot of his own just of target at the end of the first half.
Disciplined in midfield as he put in a shift both on and off the ball. Not scared of tracking back, or providing an extra body in attack when Parma looked to break.
Was able to win a few balls in the air but that was about the extent of his contribution. Apart from providing a decent target, he did not influence the game much.
Largely anonymous up front as he was starved of service. Snatched at the one chance that fell his way as he never looked like scoring.
Wrong-footed ever so slightly by the Parma equaliser, and produced two decent saves to keep Milan's interest in the game.
M. De Sciglio
Got forward on occasion to support the Milan cause, and was not often bettered in defence. Not flashy, but stuck to his task and got the job done.
A tad suspect with his positioning, but overall a decent display, though again, Parma did not always prove to be the most trying of opponents.
Not put under a whole lot of pressure, but did well when called upon, particularly with a last-ditch block on the goalline to deny Gobbi what would have been a surefire goal.
Provided some much needed width for the visitors in attack, as he surged forward well on the right flank. Solid enough defensively, though Parma did not always provide him with the greatest test.
Broke up play effectively, but some of his passes forward were not up to standard. Milan simply needed a more forward-thinking option, a fact recognized by Allegri as he was withdrawn shortly after the hour mark.
Full of running as always, and put in plenty of sweat in both ends of the field as he surged from box to box. However, the end product just wasn’t there from him as he seemed slightly blunted in the attacking third with his passing.
Another awkward display from Boateng in the hole. He seemed unsure of when to drop deep and when to make runs off the ball. He also failed to score with a pair of headers from gilt-edged positions, and was hauled off in the 70th minute after drifting to the periphery of proceedings.
N. de Jong
A typically tenacious De Jong performance in the middle of the park. Never stopped running, and forced Parma into mistakes on more than one occasion thanks to his relentless pressing in the middle of the park.
It seemed set to be another sub-par game from him, but he came alive at the end of the first half with a curling effort that nearly found the target. Played an important role in El Shaarawy's equaliser, and looked more confident after the break.
S. El Shaarawy
His impressive start to the season continued today with another accomplished performance. His run and finish were quality enough, but what stood out was his fearlessness in running at the Parma defence in a bid to create something. Fast becoming undroppable.
Tested Mirante with a long range free-kick, but was otherwise rather careless in midfield. Conceded a free-kick within one minute of his introduction - a free-kick that led to the Parma equaliser.
Sloppy after coming off the bench, giving the ball away on more then one occasion.
