Made two crucial stops from Shelvey early on and was a calming presence behind the defence throughout. More performances like this will keep Hart on the bench for the forseeable future.
Looked something close to his best though Vazquez's lack of movement helped him. Showed good pace during the first half.
Metronomic in his passing as he kept the ball with ease. Not called into action in defence on too many occasions but made a couple of attack-ending challenges. Excellent run and pass created third.
Was a decent outlet on the left hand side and neat pass almost set up a goal for Aguero. Dealt with the runs of Tiendalli well despite lack of assistance from Nasri.
Saw a first-half header crash off the crossbar but was twice left for dead by De Guzman either side of the break. A more clinical finisher might well have punished him.
A much quieter display from the winger as he struggled to get the better of Davies. His final ball was lacking when he did get in crossing positions.
Certainly not at his best but the odd barnstorming run caused problems. One such drive from midfield provided the assist for Nasri's strike.
Was wasteful with the ball on too many occasions despite the odd nice touch in the first period. Came to life in front of goal, though, as he finished brilliantly twice and almost had a hat-trick.
Again did the dirty work effectively in a campaign during which he is slowly becoming City's unsung hero. Passed and tackled well.
A real nuisance throughout and struck his free kick beautifully to break the deadlock. Deserved his rest after being replaced just after the hour mark.
Did everything but score as he was, for once, unlucky in front of goal. Never stopped working for his goal and deserved to get on the scoresheet.
Made a string of good saves but should have positioned himself better for Negredo's opener. Will not be displaced by Vorm on the back of this display.
Kept Navas quiet and got himself in decent positions when coming forward. Not helped by Dyer for the third goal as he could do nothing to stop Zabaleta breaking down the right.
Did much more attacking than defending but was unable to provide a telling cross from the right-hand side. Kept Nasri fairly quiet when the France man was playing on the left.
Struggled to deal with Negredo as the Spaniard bullied the visitors' skipper. Did make some crucial interventions from set-pieces, however.
Brought the ball out of defence well but gave Aguero too much room throughout the match. Left for dead by Nasri for the second goal.
Showed some nice touches but struggled to get into positions from which he could really influence the match. Substituted in the second period.
Broke up plenty of City attacks and kept the ball superbly as he passed sensibly. His only issue is pace when likes of Toure burst through.
J. de Guzmán
Missed a glorious opportunity to equalise before wasting another opportunity in the second period. Key in the Swansea midfield's domination with passing, though.
Struggled to get into the game on either flank and his only sight of goal saw him blaze over the top. Replaced as Swansea chased the game.
The standout player in the first half as he twice tested Pantilimon with long-range efforts. His passing was a delight but faded in the second period.
Almost anonymous despite Swansea dominating possession for much of the match. Gave Lescott an easy ride on his return.
Fired over in his only real time on the ball after a second-half appearance as substitute.
Played some excellent passes in a slightly more advanced role than that in which he normally appears. A well-timed pass almost set up a fourth for Fernandinho.
Made little impact after replacing Aguero late on.
