Uncharacteristically sloppy with the ball, but some timely saves proved very important.
Assumed a greater defensive role in the 3-4-3 and performed his duties well. A lovely through ball to Lewandowski nearly helped put the game out of reach.
Tireless work in defence, while providing some sensational balls towards the front three.
Defensive work was above average, but he was not tested much early on.
Panicked far too often in defence, failing to make the smart play. Really seemed to struggle as the second half wore on.
A key defensive play on De Bruyne was his most important contribution, though he did not manage to factor much into the attack until late on.
Hardly factored into the result. Saw little of the ball and was especially wasteful in possession in the opening minutes.
He was brilliant in his new role. Got up and down the flank superbly, assisting the opener and scoring the winner. Proved near impossible to deal with.
Impressive debut from the 17-year-old, who displayed a lovely range of passing.
Scored the opening goal with a nice touch, and was very lively in attack. Needed to be a bit more selfish at times.

Failed to make an impact on the match. Disappointing debut for the midfielder, who saw very little of the ball and failed to create anything in attack.
K. De Bruyne
Not his usual self, but came to life as the match went on. His tireless legs proved a bit of a nuisance for Bayern to deal with, but he could not convert it into many scoring opportunities.
Sloppy on the ball. A lazy giveaway to Arjen Robben directly led to the winning goal for the Dutchman.
Never posed much of a threat and came off in the 60th minute.
His magnificent strike pulled Wolfsburg back into the match. Did not get the best of service, but needed to do a better job holding the ball up to wait for support.
A magnificent ball towards Malanda should have resulted in the leveller. Really helped spring the team to life in attack after coming on at the break.
Made his presence felt as a substitute, but will mostly be remember for failing to hit the target with a wide open header late in the match.
