Goal.com rates the players on show as the Nerazzurri fail to capitalise on Juventus' draw as they are forced to come from behind to salvage a point against the Granata

The keeper commanded his area well when crosses were sent in and he also made some quality saves. His stop to keep out Meggiorini at the end avoided an embarrassing upset for the hosts.

  • Javier Zanetti

    Javier Zanetti

Provided some much-needed cover around the back as Torino focused their attacks down Inter's left. He kept a close eye on Santana and drove his side forward in the second half, setting up Cambiasso's equaliser.

  • Andrea Ranocchia

    Andrea Ranocchia

The centre-back did not have his finest outing in an Inter shirt as he allowed the opposition forwards far too much time on the ball. He was a step of the pace and struggled to cope throughout.

  • Cristian Chivu

    Cristian Chivu

Fired in a brilliant free kick to put his side ahead after just five minutes but was withdrawn in the 28th minute after picking up a knock.

  • Juan Jesus

    Juan Jesus

Much like midweek against Roma the Brazilian was left to defend the whole of the left side on his own. He did as well as he could, making some important interceptions and blocks.

  • Yuto Nagatomo

    3.50

    Yuto Nagatomo

The Japanese did not offer enough protection against the impressive Cerci. He rarely committed to a challenge and was beaten on a number of occasions. He did not push on in the wide areas either.

  • Fredy Guarín

Fredy Guarín Flop of the Match

Frequently dropped back to help his side defend but that ended up leaving the top two isolated for long periods. His lapse in concentration was pounced upon by Torino as Meggiorini netted the equaliser.

  • Gaby Mudingayi

    Gaby Mudingayi

The Belgian midfielder was largely uninvolved in the first half until he knocked a few passes about deep in his own half. He picked up in the second half and was replaced by Cambiasso.

  • Walter Gargano

    Walter Gargano

Found himself overrun in the middle as Torino seemed to have far more time on the ball. He failed to provide any drive through the middle of the park and was not convincing in the slightest.

  • Rodrigo Palacio

    1
    2.50

    Rodrigo Palacio

Was busy throughout as he chased down every ball, but ultimately he lacked support in open play and looked isolated. He failed to round Gillet and tap home the winner in the closing stages.

  • Antonio Cassano

    Antonio Cassano

The former AC Milan man's sole contribution in the first half was to poke the ball away from Brighi and win the free kick that led to the goal. Improved in the second half with some nifty touches and link-up play.

The Uruguayan struggled as he played out of position in a back three. He was beaten far too easily by Cerci as the Torino winger set up Meggiorini's second.

  • Ricardo Álvarez

    Ricardo Álvarez

Came on for Cassano in the 75th minute but did not have much time to positively influence the outcome.

  • Esteban Cambiasso

    Esteban Cambiasso

Replaced the injured Mudingayi in the second half and made all the difference to his side. He brought the best out of his team-mates and rescued a point for the Nerazzurri with a simple finish from Zanetti's cross.

  • Jean-François Gillet

    Jean-François Gillet

There was nothing the keeper could do to keep out Chivu's opener but he did not let it affect his confidence. Two great saves, one from Guarin and another from Palacio almost guided his team to a rare San Siro win.

  • Guillermo Rodriguez

    Guillermo Rodriguez

A fairly solid outing from the centre-back as he looked focused on doing the basics to the best of his ability. He was drawn out of position leaving Cambiasso to slot in the equaliser.

  • Danilo D'Ambrosio

    Danilo D'Ambrosio

The full-back made a couple of very impressive interceptions, first easing Nagatomo off the ball in the area before stopping Palacio from stabbing a loose ball at goal on the stroke of half time.

  • Salvatore Masiello

    Salvatore Masiello

Failed to provide the same level of quality as D'Ambrosio did on the other side of defence. He rarely got forward to support the attack and allowed Zanetti to waltz in the area to create Inter's second of the night.

  • Kamil Glik

    Kamil Glik

A composed, confident performance from the Polish centre-back. He was comfortable in possession and it appeared to soothe his team-mates. His simple distribution were the building block for his side.

  • Mario Santana

    Mario Santana

Drifted inside from the left as he found it difficult up against the experienced Zanetti. He struggled to find space to influence the direction of Torino's movements but got more joy as he moved inside.

  • Alessio Cerci

    Alessio Cerci

Looked very lively out on the right flank and was Torino's first point of call when trying to threaten the Inter defence. His dribbling was first-rate and a fantastic cross set up Meggiorini just after the break.

  • Alessandro Gazzi

    Alessandro Gazzi

Orchestrated Torino brilliantly, displaying great vision as he picked out some intelligent passes. He also knew when to keep it simple and was key to the visitors impressive spells of possession.

  • Matteo Brighi

    Matteo Brighi

A fairly clumsy challenged enabled Inter to take an early lead but he recovered with a solid showing in the centre of the park. He tracked the ball well worked closely with the defence.

  • Paulo Vitor Barreto

    Paulo Vitor Barreto

Complemented Meggiorini brilliantly with what may well have been a telepathic understanding. He buzzed off of the forward with a number of bright runs and delicate flicks. His quick pass assisted the equaliser.

  • Riccardo Meggiorini

Riccardo Meggiorini Top of the Match

The striker's movement was fantastic as he never stood idle for a second. Pounced on Guarin's error to rifle in Torino's first before sliding home his side's second to put them in charge of the game. A superb performance.

    Valter Birsa

Added extra width after replacing Santana in the 70th minute and played a great pass which Bianchi could only divert onto the post.

  • Rolando Bianchi

    Rolando Bianchi

Replaced Baretto on the hour mark and offered a more physical presence in the final third. Almost grabbed a winner but his shot came back off the post.
