  Made some driving runs to create momentum for the hosts and played a nice flick to set up Podolski's goal. Always looked to penetrate West Ham's two lines of four throughout the contest.

  Played well in the deeper midfield role by keeping Arsenal's move ticking through the middle of the park. Made a crucial goal line clearance to deny Cole in the first half.

  Was back to his old self, getting involved in the match whenever he could. Always looked for Walcott and Podolski in between the lines of the West Ham defence. Got himself on the scoresheet with a cheeky finish.

  Took his goal brilliantly when Arsenal were up against it. Was involved in plenty of flowing Arsenal moves in the second half, providing a good assist for Walcott's goal.

  Clumsy performance from the Frenchman in the first half, he misplaced two key passes early on which could have had Arsenal ahead but made amends with a well taken goal in the second half. Came alive and led Arsenal to an emphatic win with two well taken goals.
