Full time in the Spanish capital! An absolutely breathless match at Santiago Bernabeu ends 7-3 to Real Madrid versus Sevilla. Gareth Bale grabbed two early on and Ronaldo dispatched a penalty to give Madrid a three-goal lead but they were pegged back just before half time thanks to goals from Bacca and Rakitic. The second half saw Madrid power on and score four goals to take the match beyond Sevilla. Benzema netted a brace and Ronaldo earned a hat trick to the the match to a crazy final result at 7-3. You won't see many more entertaining games than that this season folks! I'm Martin Macdonald, and it's been my pleasure to take you through the action tonight, see you next time!

90′ +3
Yellow Card Perotti

90′ +1
Gareth Bale gets the party tricks out a bit as he takes down the ball with a sensational chested touch 25 yards from goal. The Madrid fans have begun to see the Welshman's true qualities tonight.

89′
Benzema overstretches on a tackle and brings down Rakitic on the edge of the Sevilla box. That'll give the visitors some respite until the final whistle.

87′
Well, it appears we have a rather low key climax to the match here at Santiago Bernabeu. Madrid are confidently spraying the ball about the park as they look to run down the clock. Don't run down the clock, we don't want this match to end!

85′
It may not seem so, but Xabi Alonso has definitely added a calming presence in the midfield after coming on. Illarramendi did well, but there's no substitute for experience in the middle of the park in situations like this.

84′
Final change of the match from Unai Emery as he gives Madrid old boy, Jose Anntonio Reyes, a run out.

83′
Substitution Vitolo Reyes

83′
Real Madrid were criticised for being too negative in the Clasico. Well, the Santiago Bernabeu faithful have certainly received their value for money tonight! It's raining goals in the Spanish capital!

82′
Substitution Sami Khedira Ángel Di María

81′
Carlo Ancelotti decides he needs to take the game to Sevilla and makes an attacking substitution as he withdraws Khedira for Angel Di Maria. The Italian looks to be hungry for MORE goals!

80′
Assist Marcelo

80′
Goal Karim Benzema
GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR REAL MADRID!! TENTH GOAL OF THE NIGHT! Marcelo bursts down the left and whips a cross to the edge of the six yard box for Benzema, who powers a header home! 7-3!!

77′
Nine goals, a hat-trick, two scored penalties, one missed penalty, a sending off, and a partridge in a pear tree!

76′
Yellow/Red Stéphane M'Bia
MBIA IS SENT OFF FOR SEVILLA! The on-loan QPR man earns his second yellow card of the match for putting a forearm across the face of Modric! The visitors down to 10-men!

74′
Missed Penalty Ivan Rakitic
RAKITIC MISSES THE PENALTY! THE CROATIAN BLAZES THE SPOTKICK OVER THE BAR!

73′
PENALTY TO SEVILLA!! Figueiras earns a spotkick after appearing to KICK Ronaldo OUTSIDE the Madrid box! This match just gets crazier and crazier!

72′
Nine goals in 72 minutes of football. We have been spoiled tonight, folks!

71′
Assist Karim Benzema

71′
Goal Cristiano Ronaldo
GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR REAL MADRID!! RONALDO GETS HIS HAT TRICK!! The Portuguese receives the ball on the right and typically cuts inside and smashes a strike at goal from the edge of the box. It was certainly fortuitous though as it takes a massive deflection and loops over Beto! 6-3!!!

71′
Substitution Isco Luka Modric

70′
Second change of the match from Los Blancos as Luka Modric enters the fray in place of Isco. He'll drop just into that position behind Karim Benzema.

68′
FANTASTIC SAVE FROM DIEGO LOPEZ!! Gameiro breaks the Madrid offside trap and drills a strike towards the bottom corner but his attempt his palmed away by the Madrid 'keeper, who somehow gets a hand to it!

66′
Yellow Card Sami Khedira

66′
Just before Sevilla's goal, Madrid had a penalty shout turned down by the referee as Bale went down inside the box. Replays show it was a clear dive from the Welshman. A dark side to the game of the former Spurs man indeed.

65′
Yellow Card Arbeloa

65′
Ancelotti responds quickly to that Sevilla goal and replaces Illarremendi with Xabi Alonso, who comes on to rapturous cheers.

64′
Substitution Asier Illarramendi Xabi Alonso

63′
Assist Perotti

63′
Goal Ivan Rakitic
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR SEVILLA!! WHAT A STRIKE FROM RAKITIC!! Perotti is involved in the action instantly as he runs down the left before laying the ball to the edge of the box to the Croatian, who curls a superb left-footed shot into the top corner! 5-3! CRAZY MATCH!

62′
Substitution C. Bacca Kevin Gameiro

62′
Substitution Jairo Perotti

62′
Seville make a double change as Jairo and Bacca are replaced by Diego Perotti and Kevin Gameiro.

60′
Assist Gareth Bale

60′
Goal Cristiano Ronaldo
GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR REAL MADRID!!! Bale is involved again as he twists and turns down the right and skips past a few challenges before crossing inside for Ronaldo, and the Portuguese fires a shot at goal that's too hot to handle for Beto! 5-2!

59′
Yellow Card Stéphane M'Bia

58′
Stephane Mbia deservedly goes into the book as he persistently fouls Isco as the Madrid man looks to burst out of his own half into the final third. Free kick just on the halfway line for Los Blancos.

57′
Thankfully, it looks like the Portuguese will be okay to continue.

56′
Some worrying scenes for Sevilla at the moment as Beto is currently down injured after a collision with Ronaldo. Completely accidental, but the Sevilla 'keeper has came off worse.

54′
Sevilla had a chance to make it 3-3 but Ronaldo took Madrid straight up the park after a save from Diego Lopez to make it 4-2. Benzema back in the goals!

53′
Assist Gareth Bale

53′
Goal Karim Benzema
GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR REAL MADRID!!! A LIGHTNING COUNTERATTACK!! Ronaldo powers forward at pace before releasing Bale down the right. The Welshman reverses a cross to the back post and Benzema takes a superb touch before slotting into the bottom corner! 4-2!

51′
A massive round of applause generates in the crowd as the Madrid fans catch a sight of Xabi Alonso warming up. He's on the bench tonight, and could be in line to make a return from his injury.

49′
A decent move from Madrid sees Bale hold up possession on the right-hand side before leaving the ball to Arbeloa on the overlap. The former Liverpool defender lashes a cross into the box but Beto pounces on it to claim the ball back for the visitors.

47′
Sergio Ramos collects the ball at left back and fizzes a sensational crossfield pass to Arbeloa. The Madrid captain receives a generous applause from the Berbabeu faithful for that one.

46′
We are back under way in the Spanish capital!

Carlo Ancelotti will surely drill into his team that their can be no more slip ups. However, Sevilla's tails are up as we approach the start of the second period.

Well, Real Madrid looked as if they had Sevilla dead and buried at 3-0 but the visitors have responded excellently to pull the match back to 3-2. Gareth Bale grabbed a double and Ronaldo added a penalty to put Los Blancos three up, but a spotkick from Rakitic and a close range finish from Bacca have turned this into a real game in the capital.

HALF TIME IN SANTIAGO BERNABEU.

44′
Just a few minutes ago there was a celebratory atmosphere inside Camp Nou, but it's been replaced by nervous whispers. Sevilla have done incredibly well to get back into this!

42′
Ohhhhh a poor pass from Vitolo!! Sevilla counterattack at pace and Jairo is completely unmarked on the left-hand side but the pass from his team-mate is poor and Madrid intercept! A chance missed!

40′
Assist Jairo

40′
Goal C. Bacca
GOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLL FOR SEVILLA!!! THE COMEBACK IS ON!!! Vitolo gallops down the left and cuts the ball back inside. Jairo picks up possession at the front post and reverses into the six yard box for Bacca who slides home! 3-2! What a first half!

39′
A massive slice of luck for Sevilla there. That's just about the softest penalty kick you'll ever see.

38′
Penalty Goal Ivan Rakitic
GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR SEVILLA!! A RAY OF HOPE FOR THE VISITORS!! Rakitic lashes the penalty beyond Diego Lopez's reach into the bottom left corner! 3-1! Game on!

37′
Yellow Card Sergio Ramos

37′
PENALTY TO SEVILLA! Figueiras goes down after an incredibly soft challenge from Ramos!

35′
Rakitic!!! Unlucky! The Croatian latches on to a whipped cross inside and looks to guide a strike into the right corner, but it goes wide. A half chance at best for the former Schalke man.

33′
No sentimentality from Ronaldo there, he didn't allow Bale to grab a first half hat trick. He is the penalty taker, after all...

32′
Penalty Goal Cristiano Ronaldo
GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR REAL MADRID!!! Ronaldo steps up and confidently dispatches the penalty into the bottom right corner! 3-0!

31′
PENALTY TO REAL MADRID!! Alberto Moreno hauls down Isco inside the area!

29′
Sevilla need to get their act together rather quickly here as they are being completely outplayed in every department. If they can shake off the cobwebs, they can still get something out of this match.

28′
It looks as if it may be one of those nights for Bale. Everything he is touching seems to be productive in some way.

27′
Goal Gareth Bale
GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLL FOR REAL MADRID!!! Bale steps up and hits the free kick instead of Ronaldo and the ball takes a massive deflection off Moreno before nestling in the left corner! Beto no chance! 2-0!

25′
Yellow Card Alberto

25′
Free kick to Real Madrid in a really useful position here as Navarro goes in very, very late on Ronaldo on the edge of the box. No prizes for guessing who'll be taking this one.

24′
First booking of the match is a deserved one and it goes to Alberto Moreno as the 21-year-old scythes down Ronaldo.

22′
Well, what was that free kick from Ronaldo? It seems the entire Santiago Bernabeu thought the Portuguese was going to have a crack at goal, as Benzema was not ready for the disguised pass out to the left.

21′
GARETH BAAAAAAAAAAALEEEE!!! HOW CLOSE WAS THAT?! The former Spurs man once again latches on to a pass from Benzema and hits a rasper of a strike towards the top left corner. It just rises at the last minute and goes north of the crossbar! Inches!

19′
Ronaldoooooo!!! Not one to be outdone, the Portuguese picks up the ball on the edge of the box and skips past two challenges before checking back inside and smashing a right-footed shot at goal. It ended up comfortable for Beto, though.

17′
Benzema and Bale have struck up a really nice cohesion in the past couple of minutes. Ronaldo and Isco look a bit left out!

16′
BAAAAALEEEE!!! HE ALMOST DOUBLES HIS TALLY IMMEDIATELY! He exchanges a one-two with Benzema before penetrating the box and curling an accurate strike towards the bottom corner, but Beto was equal to it, and batted the attempt away.

15′
It was a fairly tentative start to the match from Bale, but that goal will do wonders for his confidence!

14′
Goal Gareth Bale
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAL FOR REAL MADRID!!! AND IT'S GARETH BALE!!! Benzema breaks into space inside the box and lays the ball to the back post for the Welshman, who takes a touch before rifling a strike into the top left corner! 1-0!

14′
Assist Karim Benzema

13′
Madrid counterattack at pace here! This move looks to have some foundation!

11′
As I said earlier, Sevilla don't travel at all well, so this may be the perfect match for Madrid to recover from their Clasico loss.

10′
Marcelo bursts down the left flank once again but on this occasion he horribly misjudges his cross inside and sends the ball straight into row Z. Not his best.

8′
Decent start to the proceedings at Santiago Bernabeu. Madrid have started the match with plenty of pace and intensity in their passing but Sevilla look pretty dangerous on the counterattack.

6′
Side-netting from Jairo!! The 20-year-old bursts down the inside right channel and takes the ball beyond the defence before lashing a strike at goal, but Diego Lopez sees the attempt wide. Decent build-up play from the visitors.

5′
As expected, Ronaldo will start on the left and Bale will start on the right. Two players who absolutely love to cut inside and shoot, so you feel Beto in the Sevilla goal will be a busy man tonight.

4′
Iscooooo!!! SO UNLUCKY!!! The former Malaga man takes a fantastic touch on the edge of the box which takes him beyond the defence. From a slightly tight angle he delicately dinks the ball over Beto but his attempt just shaves the left-hand post!

3′
Much of Madrid's play has went down the left-hand side so far. Ronaldo and Marcelo have already linked up a few times and are looking sharp out wide. Could be a source of danger for Sevilla.

2′
Sevilla have gone over 13 months without an away win in La Liga. What a night it would be to stop the rot! Let's see what they are made of!

1′
We are under way in Santiago Bernabeu!

We are just a few moments from kick-off now!

Real Madrid enter tonight's match a massive nine points behind Barcelona in top spot, and five behind second-placed Atletico. Is this a must win game already in the season for Los Blancos?

How will Ronaldo respond tonight? You wouldn't put it past him bagging a hat-trick in defiance.

This didn't go down too well with the Ronaldo and Madrid camp, who feel that FIFA already show bias towards Messi and Barcelona. Drama drama drama!

The 77-year-old claimed that Ronaldo "Spends too much time in the hairdressers" and that he himself "Prefers Lionel Messi."

An interesting sub-plot tonight will be the mindset of one Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese has been involved in a war of words with FIFA president, Sepp Blatter, in the last few days.

Sevilla coach Unai Emery has made one change from his side's 2-1 home victory over Osasuna. Kevin Gameiro has been replaced by Fernando Navarro, which will result in Alberto Moreno advancing forward to attacking left-midfield.

Asier Illarramendi, who did well after enterting the fray in the Clasico, comes into midfield, with Sergio Ramos retreating back into his favoured position at the back after an ill-advised foray into the middle of the park against Barca.

The defeat against rivals, Barcelona, on Saturday has saw the Italian come under much criticism for his supposed negative tactics in the match, but I think we can expect a much more expansive Real Madrid this evening.

A pretty impressive frontline selected by Carlo Ancelotti tonight. Isco and Karim Benzema are reinstated to the first XI after being left out of the Clasico at the weekend. Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale keep their place.

Sevilla (4-2-3-1): Beto; Figueiras, Pareja, Carrico, Navarro; Rakitic, M'Bia; Alberto Moreno, Jairo; Vitolo; Bacca.

Real Madrid (4-2-3-1): Diego Lopez; Arbeloa, Varane, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo; Illarramendi, Khedira; Ronaldo, Isco, Bale; Benzema.
