Player Ratings: Hull City 6-0 Fulham

Tom Huddlestone inspired the Tigers to their biggest-ever Premier League win over the abject visitors as a glut of second half goals ensured a rout at the KC Stadium

    Allan McGregor

Had extremely little to deal with - such was his side's dominance - but was generally sound with his handling of the ball.

  • Liam Rosenior

    Liam Rosenior

Did not offer enough support to Elmohamady from an attacking point of view early on but stuck to his guns at the back and was tidy on the ball. The second half saw a marked improvement in his attacking play, epitomised by his late assist.

  • Maynor Figueroa

    Maynor Figueroa

More forward thinking than Rosenior on the other flank but was caught out on occasions by Ruiz's trickery. Did not shy away from defensive or offensive work for his side.

  • James Chester

    James Chester

Looks increasingly assured alongside the dominant Davies and seemed inspired by his skipper and central defensive partner's work.

  • Curtis Davies

    Curtis Davies

Kept things simple at the back but was always on hand to mop up any loose balls and dominated a sluggish Rodallega in the challenge.

  • Tom Huddlestone

    Tom Huddlestone

Continues to shine in a deep midfield role at Hull and zipped passes around the KC turf at will, but his fortunes from set pieces was largely mixed until he set up the opener. Virtuoso display was capped by a superb strike.

  • Robert Koren

    0
    3.50

    Robert Koren

Floated around on the edge of the area in an attempt to link the play between midfield and attack but was not close enough to Sagbo early on. The second half was a different story. His runs were intelligent and his finishing was clinical.

  • Jake Livermore

    Jake Livermore

Quiet but effective. Rarely gave the ball away but equally did not really offer enough of a threat with it. Snuffed out attacking threat of Kasami from midfield.

  • Ahmed El Mohamady

    3.50

    Ahmed El Mohamady

Constantly looked to get at Riise and could not be faulted for his effort and application, but needs to work on his end product to aid the Tigers' attack. Got his just rewards with the opening goal of the contest.

  • George Boyd

    3.50

    George Boyd

Industrious on the left, the attack-minded midfielder never stopped working and epitomised his side's workmanlike approach. Unlucky not to open the scoring in the first half but redeemed himself by slotting home the third goal.

  • Y. Sagbo
    0
    0
    3.50

    Y. Sagbo

Was a willing runner and gave so much for his side so can feel somewhat aggrieved his peers failed to follow suit. Looked isolated at times and his effort in the opening period was mustered out of nothing but thrived in the second half and set up Koren's opening strike.

    Danny Graham

Fought hard up front when he emerged from the bench and had a key role in the final goal as his low effort was tipped straight to Koren to slot home the sixth.

  • Matt Fryatt

    Matt Fryatt

Worked hard upon his arrival, slotting home when Huddlestone's free-kick was parried.

  • David Stockdale

    2.00

    David Stockdale

Saved well from Boyd's effort and dealt with just about everything that came his way as Fulham overcame an early Hull barrage but his second half was littered with errors. Not aided by an abject showing from his defence.

  • John Arne Riise

    2.00

    John Arne Riise

Shocking defensively and was inhibited by Elmohamady's penetrative runs down the right. Could not get forward with the usual regularity or gusto but was unlucky not to score early on with a low effort.

  • Aaron Hughes

    Aaron Hughes

Slow, laborious and clumsy. The Cottagers stalwart could not handle the pace or movement of the Tigers' front three and looked remarkably out of his depth.

  • Elsad Zverotić

    Elsad Zverotić

Struggled to contain a lively Boyd throughout and the hosts clearly pinpointed an area of weakness judging by the manner in which Figueroa helped to double up on the Montenegrin. Lost the person he was attempting to mark time and time again. Woeful.

  • Amorebieta

    1.50

    Amorebieta

Still looks to be getting to grips with the physicality of Premier League frontmen and it could not have been more evident here. Bullied all day by Sagbo and unable to get to grips with the midfield runners off of him.

  • Steve Sidwell

    2.00

    Steve Sidwell

Went in with a series of over-zealous challenges in the first half and was often penalised. Failed to provide his side with a solid enough base at the heart of midfield.

  • Pajtim Kasami
    0
    0
    2.50

    Pajtim Kasami

Usually such a threat when running from deep in midfield but was stifled by Hull's disciplined approach. It resulted in the Swiss occupying an even deeper position to retrieve possession and try and get his side into the game.

  • Giorgos Karagounis
    1
    0
    1.50

    Giorgos Karagounis

Completely anonymous. Failed to stamp any authority in midfield and did not get close enough to Koren or Huddlestone to stop them pulling the strings.

  • Ashkan Dejagah
    0

    1.50

    Ashkan Dejagah

Another who failed to stake a claim for a starting spot with an abject display which resulted in an early substitution.

  • Bryan Ruiz
    0
    0
    2.00

    Bryan Ruiz

Completely on the periphery of the game. His tendency to flit in and out of action was apparent here, offering the odd stepover and very little else in terms of an attacking threat.

  • Hugo Rodallega
    0
    0
    2.00

    Hugo Rodallega

Forlorn figure for the visitors. His touch was poor, did not look up to it against Davies in the tackle but was starved of good service from his team-mates.

Substitutions

  • Alexander Kacaniklic

    Alexander Kacaniklic

Could do very little in helping to swing the game in his side's favour. Was brought on as something of a last resort for a woeful Fulham side.

  • Kieran Richardson

    Kieran Richardson

Brought on for the closing stages and barely touched the ball.

  • Darren Bent

    Darren Bent

Did very little in his cameo role but did go close with one effort after a great cross from Riise.
