Don't you just hate it when you look up and see your team-mate in acres of space down the wing, deliver the perfect pass, and then realise you've actually passed it to a steward?
That's exactly what happened to Peterborough United midfielder Michael Bostwick. The former England C midfielder thought he had picked out a team-mate wearing the same fluorescent yellow kit as him, but it was in fact a steward at the side of the pitch.

Peterborough's yellow kit is not the first jersey to cause confusion, as Manchester United famously found out in 1996.
During their game with Southampton, the Red Devils became the Invisible Devils when they sported their new grey jersey against Southampton.
Trailing 3-0 at half-time, United changed strips at the interval, with manager Sir Alex Ferguson later blaming the fact that the grey clashed with the crowd.
"The players couldn’t pick each other out," Ferguson told reporters. "They said it was difficult to see their team-mates at distance when they lifted their heads."

Earlier this year, the grey kit was voted the club's worst ever in a poll run by the Manchester Evening News.
Similarly, Posh fans are already calling for the retirement of their yellow jersey, with some contacting the club on Twitter to ask 'can we get rid of this ridiculous kit please?'
