Deulofeu 'absolutely an option' for Barcelona

Playing his first season with Al Sadd in the QSL, the former Barcelona man proved to be one of the team's key players.

“I tried to beat Xavi’s assist record, I am lucky to be battling with such a top player for this honour. I will be targeting to beat him next season now, God willing” revealed the winger who notched up 15 assists over the course of the season.

However, it was Sergio Garcia who lead the assists charts in the QSL last season with a whopping 19 assists for Al Rayyan.

Ismael also spoke about Lekhwiya's title win and how Xavi's Al Sadd side pushed them until the end.

“We had a target to win the league and we have achieved this. We were under pressure till the very end and did well to win the title, despite missing key players. After the league we have to take on the cups and we are ready for them, this is our plan now. I am now ready for everything.”
