The penultimate round of the 2018 Malaysia Super League will be played out over this weekend and the coming Monday, with five teams having the chance to be in the second place, and four teams still threatened by relegation.
Only Perak (35 points) in second place and PKNS FC (32) in third have the chance to end the round in second place.
Pahang (fourth), Kedah (fifth) and Terengganu (sixth) are all on 31 points, and can finish in between the third and sixth places this weekend.
Four teams could still risk relegation at this point, despite the gaps between them. Klang Valley rivals Selangor (ninth) and Kuala Lumpur (10th) are both on 21 points, while Negeri Sembilan (11th) and Kelantan (12th) are both on 15 points.
The two bottom sides' chances are frankly slim, but Negeri have it better as on Sunday they play away to Kuala Lumpur and have the opportunity to halve that six-point gap from safety, in what is probably one of the most-anticipated matches in this round.
