Jurgen Klopp is not expecting further movement at Liverpool during the January transfer window, but he has targets identified “all over the world”.
The Reds have already been involved in two big-money deals since the turn of 2018, with Virgil van Dijk acquired for £75 million and Philippe Coutinho offloaded for £140m (€160m).
There is the possibility that further deals, both in and out, could be sanctioned before the deadline passes, with the likes of Daniel Sturridge edging towards the exits and Monaco’s Thomas Lemar still generating plenty of arrival talk.
Klopp admits that he will continue to keep a close eye on the market, with Liverpool working towards long-term goals which require them to be aware of potential new recruits across the globe.
The German coach told reporters when offering the latest update on the Reds’ plans: “Our situation is always the same, we really look [for players] all year.

“So why should I stop now only because January 31st is nearly here?
“We do that all the time. Nothing has changed. The only thing is with one or two players we maybe have to make a decision is it for now or is it for the summer? That's the only difference.
“But look, we are constantly looking, my iPad is full of players from all over the world. That's what we do.
“But specific? No. It is not that we now say exactly that we need that or we cannot play football anymore.”
While Klopp continues to keep the door open at Anfield, he has admitted that no deals are in the pipeline.
He previously stated when quizzed on late movement in January: "It's not really likely.
"Should I say 100 per cent no? But that would kill all the rumours and I don't want to do that.”
