Hibernian's Efe Ambrose has applauded his side's great 'team spirit' in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Partick Thistle at Firhill.
The 28-year-old, who made his 16th appearance this season for the Hibs, with Adam Barton’s own goal gifting them the win.
The Nigerian, who has continued to enjoy a regular place in Neil Lennon's squad, missed a great chance to score but he promised to take his opportunities next time.
"It was a great win for us and I feel very happy and proud of the performance of my teammates with the result," Ambrose told Goal.
"Sincerely, it was a tough game for us because the home team gave us a good fight and even tried to come back but we defended well till the end to get all the three points.
"For our unbeaten record away, I believe it's due to our hard work and team spirit. We also must thank the support of the coaching staff and the fans so far this season.
"I missed a chance to score because I was trying to pass the ball and not become selfish with it. I have scored a goal this season in a Cup match but there will still be plenty of chances to score in subsequent games, which I hope to make good use of it when they come.
"Hibs is a great club and I am very grateful to the coach (Nel Lennon) for believing in me and my abilities. We also have a bunch of talents in the squad, who has really help me to come back stronger than ever," he concluded.
With the win, Lennon's side are fourth on the log with 29 points - eight behind table-toppers Celtic, who would be their guest next week at Easter Road
