Aaron Wan-Bissaka wins second Crystal Palace Player of the Month award

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been named Crystal Palace Player of the Month for August following his impressive displays for the side.

The 20-year-old secured 48 percent of the total votes cast by the Eagles’ fans to scoop the award for the second time since breaking into the first team, having won the prize in March.

The youngster played a key role as Palace kicked off their 2018-19 Premier League campaign with a win against Fulham providing an assist for Wilfried Zaha and defending resolutely to help Roy Hodgson’s men keep a clean sheet in the tie.

And despite being sent off for a late challenge on Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, the right-back still got the backing of the majority of the fans to grab the gong.

On Tuesday, Wan-Bissaka put up another outstanding performance to help the Eagles edge out Swansea City in the second round of the League Cup.
