Reuben also stated that he is currently receiving treatment at the National Sports Institute (ISN) after undergoing surgery on his left knee.
Meanwhile, he is also confident that Malaysia can advance from the group stage of the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup.
“A lot of people are saying that our group is the “group of death” but for me, we still have a chance to go through to the next round. But we must focus on the games in the group stage first before we think about the next round,” added Reuben. For the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup in Singapore in Vietnam, Malaysia have been placed in the same group as current holders Singapore, three-times winners Thailand and the winner of the qualifying round.
