PDRM sealed their season with joy when they lifted up the Premier League, but only after their second defeat of the season against Kedah

PDRM great season finally came to the end after they were officially announced as the champions of the second tier of Malaysia’s league system. However it came in the hardest way after they were beaten 3-2 by Kedah in the Selayang Stadium.
The pressure-less Cops were facing the hungrier Kedah who needed all three points as they were battling against JDT II for fourth place, in order for them to qualify for this years Malaysia Cup automatically.
The match did start with both teams taking turns to attack each other, however late in the first half Kedah broke through the PDRM defense. After the break, Kedah added two more goals, sealing the victory, with the three goals being scored by Syazwan Zainon, Namkung Wong and Billy Osman.
PDRM rebounded near to the final whisttle, Ali Ashfaq and Fauzi Majid each scored a consolation, but it was too late to turn things in their favor.
PDRM, under coach Dollah Salleh, had confirmed the championship earlier on when the beat Negeri Sembilan in Paroi last week. The prize giving ceremony was also attended by Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin, the General Secretary of the Malaysia Football Association, and Dato’ Seri Dr Zahid Hamidi, the Minister of Home Affairs.
Malaysia's Premier League was completed last night with PDRM crowned champions and the runner-up Felda United.
The 2014 Malaysia Cup spots for Premier League teams have been fiiled by PDRM, Felda United, Penang and Kedah. While JDT II and Negeri Sembilan will have to wait for MSL to finish before playing against the teams who finished in the 11th and 12th spot of the Malaysia Super League.
