Former Pahang hero, Zulhamizan Zakaria, is confident that Pahang have what it takes to beat Kelantan and bring the trophy back to Kuantan.
Former Pahang player, Zulhamizan Zakaria, is confident that the Elephants can repeat history and win the Malaysia Cup against Kelantan this Sunday, just like they did in 1992.
Zulhamizan, who scored the only goal in the final of 1992, said that the Pahang players must give their best to prove that they are a strong team and it is not impossible for the Tok Gajah to win the game, especially if they win the battle in midfield.
Speaking to Utusan Malaysia, Zulahamizan said: "The midfield area is really important and they must strengthen it if they wish to lift the trophy.
"I also hope that Jalaluddin Jaafar, who played with me in the past, can win the trophy."
Zulhamizan also believes that both teams have an equal chance to win the game.
"They will be nervous on that day but the team who can find the advantage will definitely win the game."
Zulhamizan highlighted that Azidan Sarudin, Amirul Hadi and Azamuddin Akil will be the key players for Pahang in the final after a 12-year absence from the title-decider.
