Tickets for the 2013 Malaysia Cup final between Kelantan and Pahang scheduled to be played at the Shah Alam Stadium on November 3 will cost MYR40 for each adult.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) revealed the price on its Twitter account ‘Bolasepak Malaysia’ on Monday afternoon, just six days before the final on Sunday.
Children below the age of 12 can get in for only MYR5.
The Youth and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, was in the news recently saying that he wants the FAM to create proper guidelines for the sales of the tickets while also highlighting that he wants to eradicate ticket touts.
The Malaysia Cup final will feature Kelantan, who beat ATM 4-3 on aggregate, and Pahang, who scrapped past Sarawak 4-2 over two legs.
Both teams qualified for the quarterfinals from the ‘Group of Death’ (Group C) in the preliminary rounds but the Red Warriors came out on top with 11 points while the Elephants had eight.
In the first group game, both sides drew 1-1 but in the returning fixture, Kelantan thrashed Pahang 4-0 in Kota Bharu.
