Indonesia coach Nil Maizar: We're not going for a draw

With his team only needing a draw to reach the semi-finals, Nil has reiterated that they will be playing to win
Indonesia national team coach Ni Maizar confirmed that the Garudas will not be eyeing a draw against Malaysia in the final match of Group B in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Saturday.

The 2010 runners-up only need a draw in their last match to qualify for the last-four, while Malaysia needs a victory if Singapore fail to beat Laos.

"We are not thinking of a draw, we must achieve the best possible results," said the coach.

"We are not safe, and have to keep fighting until the last game to qualify for the semi-finals.

"The players had a great game against Singapore and I hope they can do it again in the next match. "

Nil also added that Malaysia has a key player in every position. The former Semen Padang coach singled out Safiq Rahim as the most dangerous player in the Malaysian team. Besides having the vision and execution Safiq is also deadly with free-kicks, as seen in his opening goal against Laos.

"Safiq is a prominent player in Malaysia," said Nil.

"But overall they have good players. We would be anticipating the speed of the Malaysian players."
