"Kaeng khiao wan" in Thai. This is a variety curry in Thai cuisine. It's hot and sweet in the same time. The main ingredients for the sauce consist of coconut milk, green curry paste, eggplant, pea aubergine, sugar, fish sauce, kaffir lime leaves, and Thai basil leaves. It can be made with all kind of meat.
You can find this very popular dish everywhere, from street carts to restaurants. Stir-fried rice noodles with eggs, fish sauce, tamarind juice, red chili pepper, plus any combination of bean sprouts, shrimp, chicken, or tofu, garnished with crushed peanuts. Coriander and lime juice can be added along with Thai condiments. It is usually served with scallions and pieces of raw banana flower.

It's served widely in Southeast Asia, but you should taste the real thing in Thailand. Hot, sour and spicy clear soup like none other. You can try 'Tom Yum Nam Khon' which is a thicker version.
