The towering attacker has been in scintillating form in the 2011-12 campaign, and now appears to be on his way to the Bundesliga as he is set to make the next step in his careerBas Dost is set to leave Heerenveen for Wolfsburg for a fee believed to be in the region of €6.5 million, Bild reports.
The 22-year-old recently travelled to Germany with his agent to discuss a potential transfer with head coach Felix Magath, and the striker has now supposedly reached an agreement to join the Bundesliga side.
Dost is expected to sign a four-year deal with Wolfsburg in the upcoming days.
The attacker is a product of the Emmen youth academy and also played for Heracles before joining Heerenveen in the summer of 2010.
He has since developed into a key player at the Friezen, and led the Eredivisie in scoring this term with 32 goals in 34 appearances.
