The 27-year-old joined les Phoceens on a free transfer from Lorient last summer, but now allegedly wants out of the Stade Velodrome following a poor season with the clubMorgan Amalfitano has asked to be transfer-listed at Olympique de Marseille after growing disillusioned with life at the club, according to L'Equipe.
The midfielder joined Didier Deschamps' side last summer on a free transfer from fellow Ligue 1 side Lorient amidst much expectation in southern France.
However a mixed season saw Marseille finish a disappointing 10th in the French top-flight, despite winning the Coupe de la Ligue and reaching the quarter finals of the Champions League.
Yet it is internal disharmony and the failure to qualify for next season's edition of Europe's premier club competition which has reportedly swayed Amalfitano's decision to quit Stade Velodrome and submit a transfer request.
Amalfitano, who has made 49 appearances for the side this season, is under contract until 2015, meaning Marseille may demand a sizable fee for the midfielder.
