The French giants have decided to include 3D design in their third kit for the new season, and the players will wear the shirt for the first time in the Coupe de France final
Olympique Lyonnais and Adidas have unveiled the club's third kit for season 2012-13 which features 3D design. The shirt contains images which will only be visible through 3D glasses, which will be included with the strip.
It is the first time that a club football shirt has a 3D design, and the move is intended to pay tribute to the Lumiere brothers, who were pioneers of filmmaking in the 1890s and were born in Lyon.
Lyon's players will be wearing the black shirt with white stripes on the shoulders for the first time in Saturday's Coupe de France final against Quevilly at Stade de France.
Remi Garde will be hoping that the new kit will give the team some luck, as Lyon lie in fourth position in the Ligue 1 table, 16 points shy of leaders Montpellier.
