Goal Malaysia runs through the best performers in the tenth round of Malaysian top-flight action
In goal, Khairul Azhan made a number of solid saves to inflict more wounds on bottom placed Perak.
Gabor Gyepes was on top form as Sarawak clinched a morale-boosting 1-1 away draw against JDT. LionsXII's young gun Safuwan Baharudin played a key role in their 1-1 draw against T-Team. Though the result wasn't exactly a favourable one, Safuwan's 23rd minute goal temporarily put them in front, until the away side equalized after the break. Underdogs, Sime Darby FC secured a thrilling win over ATM last weekend, and William Mensah was pivotal to it.
On a day when Selangor missed their biggest attacking threat, Andik Vermansyah stepped up with the creativity needed to help his side secure a valuable point. Mohamed Shawky scored the opening goal of the East Coast derby but it was his all action display, especially in closing down Terengganu's midfielders, which enabled Kelantan to launch quick counter attacks. In the same match, Zairo Anuar came back to haunt his former employers with a delightful freekick to secure a valuable point for his team. On the wings, S. Chanturu got on the scoresheet again, this time with a beautiful curler into the top corner from outside the box, while Aminuddin Noor ensured that Ronaldinho Wleh got enough support up front and managed to pop up at the right moment to bag a brace.
Up front, Lucho Figeuroa once again proved himself as a key player in JDT's line up, scoring against Sarawak to take his personal MSL tally to 5 goals. While Mohamad Ghaddar was uncharacteristically selfless in the East Coast derby, and provided the assist to his team's only goal in the 1-1 draw.
